With wooly leaves so warm and soft,
and stems that stand so proud aloft.
If mullein lines your garden way,
there is shady ground in which to play.
Offering strong medicine with which to soothe,
lungs to clear, allergies and colds to lose.
Drink the leaf tea when it is hot,
use mullein flower oil in ears a lot.
Put the leaves under cold feet,
use the stalk like a torch when darkness meets
